Morzine Summer - Activities

With more activities to offer than we can possibly mention below, Morzine has something for the whole family in the summer.

Swimming

Morzine has a fantastic ‘water park’ with a 50m ‘Olympic Pool’, ‘toddler’ pool, sloping family pool and water slide. There are also childrens play areas, volleyball courts, table tennis tables and an excellent pool side restaurant with bar and terrace.

You can also swim in Montriond lake with it’s crystal clear water, picnic areas and lakeside restaurants.

Tennis

Morzine has a tennis club with ‘hard’ and ‘clay’ courts available. Courts are available by the hour and equipment can be hired.

Golf

Locally there is  a 9 hole course in Avoriaz and in Les Gets a par 70, 18 hole course. Just under an hours drive you have the Royal Club at Evian which overlooks Lake Geneva and is one of the finest courses in France.

Walking

The ‘Portes du Soleil’ is an excellent place to enjoy some varied mountain walking. From gentle valleys to high mountain passes there is something to suit. We can advise on routes and for thise in our catered chalet we offer accompanied walks.

White Water Rafting

This is a ‘must do’ and can be enjoyed by all the family (min. age 8). Fully kitted out and in an 8 man raft we wend our way for 2.5hrs down the River Dranse in grade 3/4 rapids. You can stay dry or get as wet as you want!

With the summer luge, Adventure Parc, Horse Riding, Ice Skating, Skate Park, Climbing, Canyoning and even more you can do as much or as little as you want to in the mountains in the summer.
