Located in the Parc des Dérêches, the Morzine Aquatic Centre is one of the most popular summer attractions in the resort.
The centre features a spectacular 50-metre Olympic-sized outdoor swimming pool with stunning mountain views, as well as indoor pools, a children’s splash area, wellness facilities, an 80-metre waterslide and spacious sunbathing lawns.
It’s the perfect place to cool down after a day exploring the mountains.

🌊 Lake Montriond
Just five minutes from Morzine lies one of the most beautiful lakes in the French Alps. Surrounded by towering cliffs, forests and dramatic mountain scenery, Lake Montriond is a favourite among locals and visitors alike.
The lake offers supervised swimming during the summer months and is also popular for paddle boarding, kayaking and picnicking. On hot summer days, there’s nowhere quite like it.
Snow & Trek Tip: Arrive early on sunny afternoons as parking can fill up quickly.
🏖️ Lac des Écoles, Les Gets
Less than 15 minutes from Morzine, Lac des Écoles in Les Gets is one of the best family swimming spots in the Portes du Soleil.
This beautiful leisure lake is fed by mountain spring water and includes supervised swimming areas, a waterslide, beach volleyball court, picnic areas and the popular Wibit inflatable water park. Water temperatures often reach around 22°C during the height of summer.
🌴 Aquariaz, Avoriaz
Looking for a rainy-day activity or something a little different?
Aquariaz in Avoriaz is a tropical-themed indoor water paradise located at 1,800 metres altitude.
Palm trees, waterfalls, climbing walls, a lazy river and the famous Slidewinder half-pipe slide make this one of the most unique aquatic attractions in the Alps. Perfect for younger children and families.
🌿 Base de Loisirs des Ilettes, Sallanches
If you’re willing to travel a little further, the Ilettes Lakes in Sallanches are one of Haute-Savoie’s hidden gems.
The leisure area consists of several lakes, including a dedicated swimming lake with grassy beaches, paddle boarding opportunities and incredible views towards the Mont Blanc massif.
The warmer temperatures at lower altitude make this a popular choice during heatwaves.
